- DON'T FORGET to tie all your work (proposal, personal statement, CV, etc) into the Fulbright's mission.
- Highlight previous cultural exchanges, international experiences, etc. that you have already had. What did you learn from these experiences?
- Highlight experiences that show you are a leader.

- I described my preliminary work and how it has laid the foundation for a successful Fulbright year.
- I expressed my interest in being a cultural and educational ambassador.
- Lastly, I highlighted my passion for people and the environment.
