It is always a pleasure meeting like minded people. Two weeks ago I was fortunate to be named a Fulbright Alumni Ambassador, as well as meet other amazing alumni students and professionals. You never know where life might take you, but enjoy the ride. I am passionate about science and promoting more inclusion in minority communities. I am also passionate about traveling and learning more about new cultures (and really learning how similar we all are). Fulbright has allowed for not only the advancement of my professional works, but also the advancement of learning more about African culture and communities. It has been a wonderful and impactful experience. I hope to pass on the torch to the next set of Fulbright fellows. Apply, apply, apply!! You too can be a #Fulbright-er!!

I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in Connecticut. I have recently returned from my #Fulbright year abroad. Follow along with me as I share memories from South Africa, and discover botany, life, good food, and other experiences with a view! Archives
